Dear CMul Students
I am sending you an Excel table template where you should insert the
data regarding the answers that you gave to the 25 CMul quizzes offered
in 2019/2020.
The idea is that each of you fills your own row in the table, notably
introducing the data referring to the 25 quizzes, using the information
that I sent you along the semester (if you are missing any information,
just let me know).
* After filling your row in the Excel table and checking your totals,
please send me the filled table by email in order I may compute and
consider your bonus, if there is any (see the rules below).*
The Excel table template includes a row with an example that you
should study to understand better what you have to do after. In the
example, student 99999 was not present in Quizzes 4 and 13 (in red) and
did not answer to all questions OR did not answer correctly all
questions in some of the other quizzes.
Please, follow these instructions to fill your row in the table:
1) Include data ONLY for the row corresponding to your student number
using the information in the Quizz Excel tables that I sent you along
the semester.
2) Insert data ONLY for the quizzes where you have been present.
3) For the quizzes where you have been present, insert:
- Number of questions asked in that quizz
- Number of questions that you answered in that quizz
- Number of questions that you correctly answered in that quizz
4) The % on the left of the table should be computed automatically for
your case; anyway please check that your % are ok; if you detect any
problem, please let me know.
** Please, send me your filled Excel table (with the right data for your
row) before 5th June 2020 (Friday).** Thanks !
Regards
Fernando Pereira
*********************************************************************************************
For the students who have answered more than 50%, 75% and 90% of the
theoretical lectures short questions, the minimum marks for the exam and
project are 9.0, 8.5 and 8.0, respectively.
The students who answered above 75% of the theoretical lectures short
questions with more than 75% correct answers (measured over the total
questions at the lectures they were present), will get an increase of
the final mark resulting from the project, exam and lab by 1 point.
