  Dear CMul students,

As you know, the first CMul exam will happen on June 19, Friday, at
11.30am, Lisbon time.

1) EXAM -  The exam will be managed using the 'Project' functionality
from Fénix.  The exam will be made available on June 19, 11.30am at the
Fénix 'CMul Exam 1' Project. The exam will last for 2.5h and will
include 5 problems.  The exam will end at 2pm.

During the full exam time, the students must be participating (please
connect at least 10 minutes before the exam), in the Zoom session
(https://videoconf-colibri.zoom.us/j/97331103547?pwd=N2VLM2MrcVMzMFlZZjBFb014dUFmdz09)
*with the video on and audio off*. I suggest to use a mobile phone with
this purpose in order a wider angle may be shown. In the Zoom session,
each student must be identified with 'IST number, First name, Last name'

During the exam, any questions to me will be privately answered in the
chat in order to avoid disturbing anybody with voice communications.

2 ) AFTER EXAM - After the exam has ended (at most at 2pm), the students
must scan the pages with the resolved exam, e.g. using a mobile phone,
with a quality that is enough to visualize what has been written but
without creating too large files (200 dpi is enough) and create a pdf
file.  For example, the CamScanner application may be used to scan and
create the pdf file (don't forget to install and test it before the
exam); please see https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=PQIRIrl8hhk for
instructions.

The students must upload the pdf with their resolved exam to Fénix
(Submeter' - Projectos' - 'Comunicação Multimédia' - 'CMul Exam 1) until
14.15 or before if they so wish; the 14:15 time limit is automatically
controlled by Fénix and cannot be changed at this stage. The file  for
each student with the resolved exam shall be named as
'CMul-Exam1-NNNNN-FirstName-LastName.pdf' where NNNNN is the student number.

If you make multiple uploads, only the last one will be retained by Fénix.

Please let me know if you have any questions.

  Regards

         Fernando Pereira
