Thanks to everyone who sent a paragraph for the proposals of our three
chapters.


Prof. Pedro, please find in the Dropbox Folder (at TFfolder/Book
Chapter/ChapterProposal

a new version of the documents (version 3.0) for your final review.


In this version, I have merged the sent paragraphs and added some text to
harmonize them. Notice that, in some cases, I used the abstracts and
contributions you all had previously sent me.



Please feel free to modify the text and the list of authors.

Dear All,



Thank you for attending the online meeting this morning.

In this meeting, we have discussed about the status of our chapter, and
about the plan for delivering the chapter proposal by this Friday (Oct. 9).



Regarding the current status of the chapter, the expected number of pages
is 80 pages (Springer’s format). For this reason, we have agreed to divide
it into three different chapters:

   - *Chapter 1 (Emerging Imaging Technologies: Trends and Challenges) *–
   basically, this chapter comprises the content from Section 1 (1.1, 1.2,
   1.3) and Section 2 (2.1, 2.2, 2.3)
   - *Chapter 2 (Efficient Depth-Based 3D Video Representation and Coding)*
   – This chapter comprises Section 3 (3.1, 3.2, 3.3) and Section 5.2
   - *Chapter 3 (Lightfield Image and Video Compression)* – This chapter
   comprises Section 4 (4.1, 4.2, 4.3, 4.4) and Section 5.1


Regarding the chapter proposal, please find in our Dropbox folder (at
TFfolder/Book
Chapter/ChapterProposal

three documents with the proposal for each of these new chapters.



To finish the proposals, a summary with 300-500 words is required. As
agreed in the meeting, I kindly ask you to write (at the corresponding
document) a *small paragraph* summarizing your contribution in each chapter *by
tomorrow (Thursday, October 8)*.
