[Phdstudent.lx] 2 de Agosto - Falha de energia programada - August 2nd - Power cut

Bom dia,

No seguimento das informações fornecidas pelo Núcleo de Manutenção do IST,
venho por este meio informar de dois cortes de energia que afetarão a Torre
Norte, ambos no dia 2 de Agosto de 2021, próxima segunda-feira.

 

Da parte da manhã irá haver um corte geral em todo o campus.

Esta necessidade de corte geral prende-se com a articulação de trabalhos com
a EDP para resolução de problemas provenientes da avaria no passado dia 9 de
Junho e que afectou o campus.

 

Da parte da tarde irá haver um corte que afetará a Torre Norte, de acordo
com o planeamento (em anexo). 
O período de indisponibilidade de energia será até que se concluam os
trabalhos, o que deverá ocorrer até ao final do dia indicado. 

Computadores, UPS, bastidores e equipamentos de ar condicionado não serão
alvo de alimentações provisórias, devendo ser desligados para o período do
corte. 
Também se verificará a indisponibilidade dos elevadores.

Os edifícios equipados com geradores de emergência não terão energia de
recurso disponível, pois os geradores estarão fora de serviço para garantir
a total segurança das operações de manutenção.

 

No caso especifico do IT, é expectável que o sistema de e-mail venha a ser
afetado apenas no período da tarde, caso os trabalhos se prolonguem para
além da capacidade e autonomia, uma vez que no período da manhã deverá
entrar em serviço o gerador da Torre Norte, garantido o fornecimento de
energia aos sistemas que suportam este serviço.

 

Resumindo, dia 2 de Agosto deverão estar desligados os sistemas, afim de
prever alguma avaria originada pela falta de energia.

inform you of two power cuts that will affect the North Tower, both on
August 2, 2021, next Monday.

affected only in the afternoon, if the work extends beyond capacity and
autonomy, since in the morning the generator must come into service North
Tower, guaranteeing the supply of energy to the systems that support this
service.

 

In short, on August 2, the systems must be turned off, in order to prevent
any damage caused by the lack of energy.
