[Phdstudent.lx] New Matlab License available at IT

Bom dia.

 

Está ativa uma nova licença de MATLAB para utilização no IT.

Esta é uma licença conjunta com a Universidade de Lisboa / IST e unidades de
investigação associadas.

Durante os últimos dias a Mathworks enviou para os nossos investigadores
registados um e-mail com informação da nova licença, no qual, basta aceder à
conta da Mathworks e carregar no botão LINK.

Automaticamente será obtida a mensagem: “The MATLAB license belonging to
your university (41137037) has been linked to your MathWorks Account”

 



 

A partir deste momento poderão fazer download e instalar a versão de Matlab
da vossa preferência.

A licença anterior continua ativa sendo, no entanto, recomendada a
atualização para as novas versões.

 

Diferenças/Vantagens da nova licença:

- Possibilidade de trabalhar offline (não é necessário ter ligação à
internet)

- Todas as TOOLBOXES estão disponíveis (deixamos de estar limitados às
toolboxes anteriores (cerca de 30))

- O licenciamento das toolboxes deixou de ser concorrente, pelo que, não há
limitação do número de utilizadores em simultâneo.

 

Para os investigadores que ainda não receberam o e-mail da nova licença e
pretendam usar, ou registar pela primeira vez, bastará efetuar login, ou
criar conta, em www.mathworks.com <http://www.mathworks.com>  com o e-mail
de domínio lx.it.pt e aparecerá a informação de ligação a esta licença.

Após a ativação, poderão imediatamente fazer o download e usar o software.

Good morning.

 

A new MATLAB license is active for use in IT.

This is a joint license with the Universidade de Lisboa / IST and associated
research units.

During the last few days, Mathworks has sent our registered researchers an
email with information about the new license, in which all you have to do is
access your Mathworks account and press the LINK button.

You will automatically get the message: “The MATLAB license belonging to
your university (41137037) has been linked to your MathWorks Account”

 

>From this moment on, you will be able to download and install the Matlab
version of your choice.

The previous license remains active, however, updating to new versions is
recommended.

 

Differences/Advantages of the new license:

- Possibility to work offline (no internet connection required)

- All TOOLBOXES are available (we are no longer limited to previous
toolboxes (about 30))

- The licensing of toolboxes is no longer concurrent, so there is no
limitation on the number of simultaneous users.

 

For researchers who have not yet received the new license e-mail and wish to
use or register for the first time, simply log in or create an account at
www.mathworks.com with the domain e-mail lx.it.pt and the information about
the connection to this license will appear.

Upon activation, they can immediately download and use the software.
