[Phdstudent.lx] Whatabouts at IT-Lx - invitation to participate

Dear colleagues

We are thrilled to announce the launch of a new initiative, 
"Whatabouts at IT-Lx," and we invite everyone to participate 
enthusiastically.
Our goal is to create an inclusive environment for exchanging ideas and 
knowledge, helping us understand each other's work and strengthen our 
community bonds.

Whatabouts at IT-Lx is a new monthly event starting in September, featuring 
talks by researchers at our Lisbon Institute. These sessions aim to 
increase awareness of ongoing research and foster connections among our 
members.

We encourage everyone to participate, including MSc and PhD students. 
Each meeting will offer a platform to researchers to share their group's 
activities, discuss recently approved projects, present PhD plans, or 
explore new ideas with the community. The format is informal, with the 
presentation style and topics chosen by the presenter.

Event Details:
- When: Every second Wednesday of the month at 14:00 h
- Where: 11th floor (north tower) meeting room
- Format:ca. 30-minute talk followed by a 15-minute discussion
- Extras: coffee or tea for everyone will be provided

The kick-off will be on September 11th, with Ana Charas, from the 
Organic Electronics group, presenting "The Whatabouts of Organic 
Electronics @ IT-Lx."

Let's keep this in-person to foster lively discussions.
