Call for up to 10 Dual Degree Ph.D. Scholarships
under the CMU Portugal Program

The CMU Portugal Program has an  <https://t.e2ma.net/click/txsbhk/td1w3lmb/9d8maeb> Open  <https://t.e2ma.net/click/txsbhk/td1w3lmb/p68maeb> Call for up to 10 Dual Degree Ph.D. scholarships for the 2025/2026 academic year on cutting-edge areas of Information and Communication Technologies (ICT) funded by Fundação para a Ciência e Tecnologia (FCT).

CMU Portugal Dual Degree Doctoral students conduct their studies both in Portugal (3 years at a Portuguese Affiliated University) and in the United States (2 years at CMU). Candidates are co-advised by faculty members from each Institution and upon completing their Ph.D., graduates receive two degrees, one from CMU, and another from the partner University in Portugal. 

Applications must be submitted online directly at CMU.

Specific application deadlines and links to apply to each one of the nine available Ph.D. programs available are the following:

*	December 15th, 2024  (11:59 p.m. EST | 04:59 p.m., GMT):  <https://t.e2ma.net/click/txsbhk/td1w3lmb/9hfnaeb> Electrical and Computer Engineering (ECE) and  <https://t.e2ma.net/click/txsbhk/td1w3lmb/pagnaeb> Engineering and Public Policy (EPP).

Our 10 Scholarships are available on a competitive basis and will fully support the tuition fees and provide a monthly stipend while at CMU and Portuguese host University. All the Ph.D. courses are conducted in English, both in Portugal and at Carnegie Mellon.
