Join us for Session 8 of "Whatabouts at IT-Lx", on April 16th, 2025, featuring
Ayman Radwan with the talk:

Intersection of Networking and AI Toward Human-Centric Smart Environments:
Better Life for All

Bio:

Dr. Radwan is an Assistant Professor at the Department of Electrical and
Computer Engineering (DEEC) at Instituto Superior Técnico (IST). He is also
a Researcher at Instituto de Telecomunicações (IT. He completed his Ph.D. in
Electrical and Computer Engineering, in 2009, at Queen's University
(Canada), and his Master of Applied Science in 2003, at Carleton University
(Canada).

 

We welcome everyone, including MSc and PhD students, to join us for this
engaging and insightful event.  

 

Each session provides a platform for researchers to:  

- Share their group’s activities.  

- Discuss newly approved projects.  

- Present PhD plans.  

- Brainstorm and explore innovative ideas with the community.  

 

Event Format: 

- Style: Informal, with topics and presentation style chosen by the speaker.


- Duration: ca. 30-minute talk followed by a 15-minute discussion.  

- Extras: Coffee and tea will be provided for attendees.  

 

Event Details:

- When: Second Wednesday of every month at 14:00h.  

- Where: 11th floor (North Tower) meeting room.
